Mo Lan read through the invitations from these three worlds again and again, comparing them over and over.

All three worlds were aligned neutral-leaning evil, though the degree of evil varied. Moto World leaned the most toward evil, followed by Azure Firmament Realm, with Dreamweaver World being the least.

Considering past mission completion rates, even Moto World with its highest degree of evil alignment posed no real issues — there was essentially no risk of a world issuing missions designed to trap Explorers.

Moto World’s mission had the highest difficulty.

The mission was to investigate and eliminate the source of magical contamination, yet there was virtually no explanation about the contamination itself. In all the materials Mo Lan had reviewed about Moto World, there had been no mention of magical contamination whatsoever.

And yet, the mission assistance Moto World offered included knowledge infusion covering language and writing, geography and culture, and magical factions — an enormous breadth of information. With all this knowledge infused, an Explorer would likely understand the world’s situation even better than Moto’s native inhabitants. This showed that Moto World’s world consciousness was doing everything it could to provide Explorers with informational support.

This meant that the magical contamination in Moto World was very likely a newly emerged crisis. Even the world consciousness hadn’t figured out where the problem originated, which was why there was no information to provide on the matter.

Even without any reference information to go on, a contamination severe enough to affect an entire world and compel it to seek outside help was clearly not something to be taken lightly.

This mission was not only difficult but also shrouded in unknowns. Correspondingly, however, the mission rewards were exceptionally generous.

Rewards could be obtained at just 30% completion, and at higher completion rates, there were not only Mana Crystals but also Hearts of the Fairy and Realm-friend Invitations.

The Mana Crystals were nothing special — those could be obtained from completing any world mission. The Realm-friend Invitations from Moto World could only be considered moderately valuable. But the Hearts of the Fairy from Moto World were truly rare.

Moto World was a Fairyland-type world. Within the laws of Fairyland-type worlds, a precious treasure called the Heart of the Fairy would be born. Upon gaining its recognition, one could become a fairy who commanded a unique type of magical energy.

A fairy could enlighten others, bestowing magic seeds upon them, granting them magical abilities as well.

A single fragment of a Flame Fairy’s Heart could transform an ordinary being with no magical talent whatsoever into a magical creature possessing extraordinarily high fire-element magic aptitude.

A complete Flame Fairy’s Heart could go even further — it could enable an ordinary being with no magical talent to become a sovereign of fire energy. Not only would they command a degree of the Power of Laws over fire, they could also bestow fire-element magic seeds upon others.

The Heart of the Fairy could be called the most precious specialty product of Fairyland-type worlds, ranking among the top few treasures capable of enhancing magical aptitude across all known items.

As a Sorceress, Mo Lan had no issues with magical aptitude, but the Power of Laws contained within the Heart of the Fairy, along with the ability to bestow magic seeds upon others, still made her eyes gleam with desire.

However, the Heart of the Fairy also had tiers. A Heart of the Fairy from a lower-level world would have its abilities significantly suppressed in a higher-level world.

Moto World was only a Level 6 Fairyland world, so its Hearts of the Fairy were Level 6 as well.

Moreover, the Hearts of the Fairy offered as rewards were copies of the ones possessed by Moto World’s existing fairies.

As far as Mo Lan knew, Moto World currently had seven great fairies: the Flame Fairy, the Frost Fairy, the Verdant Melody Fairy, the Earth Fairy, the Brook Fairy, the Dawn Fairy, and the Night Fairy, commanding magical energies of fire, ice and snow, plant life, earth, water, light, and darkness respectively.

In other words, they were Hearts of the Fairy corresponding to elemental-type magical energies.

Unfortunately, Mo Lan’s own aptitude was simply too exceptional. She had essentially no deficiencies in magical talent, nor did she lack knowledge of elemental magic. Her Witch Magic still had room to grow.

Besides, Moto World was only one level above Valen World — the gap in world levels was not significant. (End of Chapter)
