With that calculation done, extracting beast core skills would have to wait, but she could start practicing Witch Magic.

Although the training room had a magical skill practice chamber, Mo Lan didn’t want to leave any traces there.

She planned to set up her Spatial Tent inside the training room and practice inside it instead.

But before that, Mo Lan needed to confirm something first.

She walked over to the psychic power testing device in the training room.

This psychic power testing device was the mainstream instrument currently used in the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins World to determine a Mirror Explorer’s rank, capable of measuring one’s star and segment level based on their psychic power.

Mo Lan wanted to see how this world’s Mirror Explorer star rankings corresponded to Valen’s Explorer Mana ranks.

She wanted to compare it with the information she had found in the Otherworld Archives and see if there were any discrepancies.

She began continuously channeling psychic power into it, and the psychic power level displayed on the testing device kept rising—one-star first segment, second segment, third segment…

It wasn’t until the device displayed the highest testable psychic power level of nine-star ninth segment that Mo Lan finally stopped.

    “Looks like nothing has changed.”

The records in the Otherworld Archives stated:

“A one-star Mirror Explorer corresponds to a Valen Peak level or lower caster, possessing psychic power equivalent to at most 9,999 Mana.

A two-star Mirror Explorer corresponds to a Valen First Rank to Second Rank caster, possessing psychic power equivalent to 10,000 to 1,000,000 Mana.

A three-star Mirror Explorer corresponds to a Valen Third Rank caster, possessing psychic power equivalent to 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 Mana.

A four-star Mirror Explorer corresponds to a Valen Fourth Rank caster, possessing psychic power equivalent to 10,000,000 to 100,000,000 Mana.

Above the 100,000,000 Mana level, the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins’ classification becomes much more granular.

A Valen Fifth Rank caster’s Mana falls within the range of 100,000,000 to 1,000,000,000, and only upon reaching 1,000,000,000 would they be considered a Sixth Rank caster.

But in the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins, Mirror Explorers from five-star to nine-star all fall within this range.

    Among them, 100,000,000 to 200,000,000 is five-star, 200,000,000 to 300,000,000 is six-star, 300,000,000 to 400,000,000 is seven-star, 400,000,000 to 500,000,000 is eight-star, 500,000,000 to 1,000,000,000 is nine-star, and only upon reaching 1,000,000,000 does one become a ten-star Mirror Explorer.

Within each star rank, there are a further ten sub-segments.”

This was no different from what she had measured with this device.

“As expected of a tenth-level world!”

Here, a one-star Mirror Explorer was merely the starting rank for casters, yet it was already equivalent in energy level to the strongest rank in the Valen world—Peak level.

Mo Lan recalled the psychic power that had been drawn out by the device during yesterday’s test. It was roughly equivalent to about 1,000 Mana.

By this world’s psychic power classification, that made her a one-star first segment Mirror Explorer.

In the Valen world, this level would already qualify as an advanced Witch or advanced mage.

And yet, this was the innate psychic power measured from a thirteen-year-old student in the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins World before they even began cultivation.

Perhaps not many had perfect innate psychic power scores like her, but it still demonstrated that the humans of this world seemed to be innately stronger in psychic power than Valen’s mages.

“So even among the same human species, the starting point differs across different worlds?”

However, given the rule that those scoring below fifty couldn’t independently perceive the mental sea or psychic power and thus couldn’t cultivate, this world’s threshold for cultivation had also risen. The innate psychic power corresponding to a score of fifty was roughly equivalent to about 500 Mana.

In Valen, that starting psychic power would already mark someone as a super genius, yet in the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins World, it wasn’t even enough to qualify as a Mirror Explorer.

Even so, the humans of the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins World still had a greater chance of becoming casters overall.

“I wonder if Valen’s mage meditation techniques would be helpful for the humans of this world?”

The moment Mo Lan had this thought, she felt a wave of pressure and immediately dismissed the idea.

Even though she had come here using a close friend’s invitation, it didn’t change the fact that she was a visitor from another world. The Three Thousand Mirror Ruins’ world consciousness could tolerate her studying and living here, doing things that were of no real consequence to this world.

But if she were to do something detrimental to this world and the development of its intelligent beings, the world consciousness would definitely pack her up and toss her out immediately.

If it weren’t for this, she would have long since explored any world she pleased, scattering Dawn Society Invitations everywhere and establishing the Dawn Society across all worlds.

It was precisely because this kind of large-scale harvesting of permanent magical energy from other worlds’ intelligent beings was viewed as an act of invasion by the world consciousness.

Now it seemed that even if the mage meditation technique would be effective for the humans of the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins World, from the perspective of the Three Thousand Mirror Ruins’ world consciousness, it would be detrimental to the overall development of humanity or the world itself.

That was why it had warned her.

Outside of the Valen world, trying to earn a bit of Mana through the old methods was truly too difficult.

“I should just focus on practicing Witch Magic!”

Since there was no profit to be gained, Mo Lan had no interest in further pondering whether the mage meditation technique could lower the cultivation threshold and allow humans in this world who had been deemed unqualified in talent to also gain the ability to cultivate.

She ducked into the Spatial Tent, quickly devised a magic training plan, and began practicing.

During the day she still had to attend classes, learn more about this world, and search for information about small-scale living spaces and other ways to boost her strength. She could only practice Witch Magic at home in the evenings.

Early the next morning, Mo Lan finished breakfast, grabbed her books, and teleported to school while reading along the way.

At this point, the only things keeping her at the school were the Mirror Explorer library, access permissions to certain mirror spaces, and future advancement opportunities.

Both the body tempering class and the psychic power cultivation class could be summed up in one word—”act!”

Fortunately, there was no psychic power cultivation class today, so she could arrange her own schedule, and she would definitely spend that time reading.

Today’s body tempering class surprisingly didn’t start with soaking in the Scarlet Refinement decoction right away.

The medicinal pool was empty, the door to the adjacent preparation room was open, and various medicinal ingredients were laid out on the workstation.

“Scarlet Refinement Grass, Fire-Pattern Vine, Blazing Sun Flower… These are all ingredients for preparing the Scarlet Refinement decoction. Don’t tell me we have to prepare today’s body tempering decoction ourselves!” Wang Jingnan speculated.

He wasn’t the only one. The others had gone home last night and crammed hard on theoretical knowledge, thoroughly studying the first few chapters of 《Introduction to Psychic Power Cultivation》 and 《Twelve Basic Body Tempering Decoctions》 that the teacher had emphatically stressed.

    They all recognized these ingredients.

“Correct!” Instructor Yan Shuang appeared here suddenly, just like yesterday.

Mo Lan figured she must have mastered some kind of spatial teleportation magic skill, allowing her to teleport without using a teleportation device.

“From now on, you will need to prepare all body tempering decoctions yourselves! Preparing body tempering decoctions isn’t particularly difficult. I know some of you come from well-off families and have plenty of ways to obtain ready-made body tempering decoctions, but entrusting something this important to others will only increase the risk of injuring yourselves!

Moreover, only you yourselves are most familiar with your own bodies, knowing which aspects need strengthening, and can therefore choose to prepare the appropriate body tempering decoction for yourselves.

Even with the same decoction, different proportions of ingredients will yield different results!”
