Chapter Index

    “Begin simulation!”

【168th simulation initiated. Current remaining origin energy: 20,154,870 points… Remaining simulation attempts: 4.】

    【Simulation begins!】

【Drawing a talent costs 1 point of origin energy. Draw?】

    “Yes!”

【Ding! Congratulations, you have drawn the gold talent Blood Spirit Divine Physique. Probability of drawing a gold talent next time: 80%. Red talent probability: 20%…】

【Blood Spirit Divine Physique】: Gold talent. One of the Hundred Great Divine Physiques. You are born with the ability to absorb energy from blood, and your learning ability for blood-related supernatural arts is greatly enhanced.

    “Blood Spirit Divine Physique…”

Su Xing raised an eyebrow. His first reaction was that this talent seemed perfectly suited for the Advent Cult’s techniques and supernatural arts!

Whether it was the Blood Immortal Scripture or the Blood River supernatural art, both seemed capable of benefiting from this talent…

“What a shame. The Advent Cult’s supernatural arts are of no use to me for now… But perhaps there’ll be a use for them someday. I’ll keep it for now!”

    Su Xing murmured to himself.

Although he had transformed into an alien race form, Su Xing could still run simulations.

“Starting a simulation in alien race form — this is a first!”

    “I wonder what changes there’ll be…”

His gaze turned to the simulation panel.

【Ding. Detected that your talent Blood Spirit Divine Physique has low compatibility with the lesser demon form…】

【Talent automatically converted to… a minor enhancement in comprehension of laws related to slaughter, blood, and similar domains.】

Looking at the text before him, Su Xing raised an eyebrow.

Ever since the lesser demon deity had been born, talents could no longer be changed.

“So it seems… if I start a simulation in lesser demon form, talents still provide a certain degree of enhancement for that form!”

    Su Xing mused thoughtfully.

【In the void, you become aware that you are in a simulation.】

【You conceal your aura and continue hiding near the Star Realm.】

    【Soon, five days pass…】

【On March 15th, you sense two auras rapidly approaching…】

【These are two first-tier deities, from the Shadow Tribe and the Tuna Tribe respectively.】

【The two Shadow Deities find you and immediately show expressions of pleasant surprise.】

【You put on an expression of ignorance and caution, appearing highly guarded…】

【The two deities are not surprised by your attitude and patiently explain things to you.】

【Soon, under the two deities’ explanations, you “gradually let down your guard.”】

【They carefully teach you how to connect to the divine domain…】

【Then, they inform you that they are acting under the orders of a great existence.】

【This great existence sensed your presence and foresaw that you would be of tremendous help to the alien races’ future. Therefore, it hopes you will join the Fifth Grand Army — the alien legion responsible for invading the Azure Origin Domain.】

【In return, the alien races will provide you with sufficient resources to help enhance your divine power, while also helping you grow the lesser demon race.】

【Upon hearing the two deities’ words, you show an expression of interest and ask them where you will be going.】

【The two alien deities inform you that they will take you to a Medium Chiliocosm called the Void Realm, which serves as the alien races’ hiding place.】

In the Real World, Su Xing raised an eyebrow at this.

“A Medium Chiliocosm, the Void Realm…”

In Su Xing’s memory, there was indeed information about such a world.

It was a Medium Chiliocosm, but its area was enormous — comparable to a Greater World.

Moreover, due to the unique void terrain surrounding the Void Realm, numerous high-intensity chaotic void currents swirled around it, making it virtually impossible for cultivators below Golden Immortal to enter.

As a result, the Void Realm had few “specialty resources,” underdeveloped commerce, and extremely little communication with the outside world. It was essentially a Medium Chiliocosm cut off from the rest of civilization.

Since there was no Luo Tian legacy presence near the Void Realm, Su Xing only knew its approximate location and had never visited.

“So that’s how it is… The alien army invading the Azure Origin Domain has been lurking near the Void Realm all this time?”

    Su Xing narrowed his eyes.

“The Void Realm isn’t very far from the Lesser Azure Cloud Realm and Earth… Only about a few dozen spatial nodes away…”

“It seems the alien races in the Azure Origin Domain have been using this world as their base of operations to launch their invasion!”

Su Xing silently noted this information.

He had barely switched to the lesser demon deity disguise and already captured such critical intelligence!

“Tsk tsk… This piece of intelligence alone makes this simulation worthwhile!”

Su Xing nodded slightly, also curious about what would unfold next now that he had assumed the lesser demon deity form.

His gaze turned to the simulation panel.

【Following the two alien deities’ instructions, you will accompany them to the Void Realm.】

【The Fifth Grand Army will give you an entire lesser chiliocosm near the Void Realm for you to breed lesser demons.】

【The Fifth Grand Army will provide you with sufficient blood essence… and in return, you must breed as many lesser demons as quickly as possible.】

【Within ten years, they want you to cultivate an army of five million lesser demons.】

【Within a hundred years, you must cultivate over a hundred million elite-tier lesser demons!】

【The Fifth Grand Army’s demands are not difficult for you. With your power, you could even shorten that timeline by several times over.】

【And so, you prepare to follow these two alien deities to see this so-called Void Realm.】

    【One month later…】

【Just as you are about to reach the Void Realm, the expressions of the two alien deities shift.】

【They inform you that they have received orders from a certain lord… and that lord is very interested in you and wishes to meet you.】

【You are somewhat surprised to hear this, but since it is only a simulation, you need not worry about your safety.】

【So you agree to the request and follow the two first-tier deities as they change direction, heading toward a different region of the void…】

【Finally, the destination leaves you deeply shocked.】

    【It is Earth!】

【And the lord who is interested in you… is none other than Red Moon!】

In the Real World, Su Xing’s heart skipped a beat when he saw this.

“Red Moon… is actually interested in me?”

“Could it be that it has seen through my identity?”

This was Su Xing’s first reaction, but he quickly dismissed the thought.

Red Moon was powerful, but ultimately only at the chief god level.

Moreover, the lesser demon deity that Su Xing had created had come into contact with chief god-level alien races multiple times in simulations without ever being exposed.

“It probably hasn’t seen through my identity… Perhaps Red Moon has some other reason for seeking me out?”

Su Xing pondered, deciding to play along and make a trip to Earth!

【Soon, you follow the two first-tier deity envoys through a passageway in the void, heading toward the Endless Abyss…】

【Several months pass. The Endless Abyss you once cleared out has partially recovered, though the red-eyed aliens above the deity level have clearly been replaced with a new batch.】

【You follow the two “envoys” all the way to the deepest layer of the Endless Abyss, where you finally see Red Moon!】

【Evidently, Red Moon has not yet fully revived at this point. What you see is Red Moon’s true form — an avatar in the shape of a massive red eyeball, roughly the size of a small mountain.】

【This is also the true form of all Red Eye Tribe members.】

【Soon, Red Moon dismisses the two envoys, apparently having private matters to discuss with you alone.】

【You stand silently in place, curious to see what Red Moon is planning.】

In the Real World, Su Xing raised an eyebrow at this.

“Red Moon seems quite interested in my avatar…”

“But this is a rare opportunity to make contact with Red Moon. I should get a close look!”

A thought stirred in Su Xing’s mind, and he silently intoned:

“Activate immersive simulation. Duration: one year…”

    【Ding… Remaining origin energy: 20,154,505 points…】

As the Chime’s notification faded, Su Xing’s consciousness entered the simulated world.

    The Endless Abyss, deepest layer!

Red Moon’s eerie, sinister voice reached his ears:

“You two, leave us for now… I have some private matters I’d like to discuss with this one!”

Su Xing narrowed his eyes. The enormous red eyeball before him emitted a voice that struck directly at the soul, resonating in the minds of all three present.

Upon hearing Red Moon’s words, the two first-tier deity envoys hesitated briefly, but then exchanged a glance, performed a peculiar salute, and said:

    “Yes, my lord!”

With that, the two envoys departed from the deepest layer of the Endless Abyss.

Once the envoys were gone, only Su Xing and Red Moon remained in the space.

Su Xing watched Red Moon expressionlessly, waiting in silence for what would come next.

“Heh heh~ Greetings, newly ascended deity favored by the Mother Goddess… Judging by your aura, you seem not far from reaching first-tier deity level!”

“Tsk tsk, who would have thought that even the lowest-ranked lesser demon race could produce such a remarkable existence…”

“With you around, perhaps in a few million years, the lesser demon race might even join the ranks of the Ten Emperor Clans!”

Red Moon rattled off quite a few words, completely lacking the terrifying presence Su Xing had experienced in previous encounters.

On the contrary, the Red Moon before him seemed to carry a tone of recruitment toward Su Xing’s avatar in his words…

Su Xing’s mind raced. He then worked hard to maintain the persona of his lesser demon disguise, speaking sparingly:

    “You… what do you mean?”

Upon hearing Su Xing’s words, Red Moon showed not the slightest anger. Instead, he said:

“Tsk tsk, nearly at the level of a first-tier deity right from birth — it seems the Mother Goddess invested quite a bit of effort in you… In the future, you will surely become an existence on par with me!”

“No… you could even become an existence stronger than me… with a chance to glimpse the Sovereign realm!”

At this point, Red Moon’s tone had taken on a hint of mania.

The moment Su Xing heard the word “Sovereign,” his spirits lifted instantly, and he listened intently.

But clearly, Red Moon didn’t want to say too much on this topic. He shifted his tone and continued:

“However… right now, you are still far too weak!”

“Newly born as you are, you’ve descended into the body of the weakest race among the alien tribes… You are in desperate need of opportunities to grow!”

“And at present, our race is locked in an endless war of blood and flesh with the human race… An existence like you could very easily perish…”

“What’s more, once your utility has been squeezed dry, those few who stand beneath the Sovereign will be more than happy to see you depart from this world as soon as possible…”

Red Moon spoke at length, his words seemingly full of consideration for the lesser demon disguise.

Su Xing listened quietly. After a moment of processing, he furrowed his brows with a “delayed realization” and said:

“You… what do you mean by that?”

Red Moon didn’t blame Su Xing. Instead, in a tone designed to bewitch the heart, he said slowly:

“And so, newly born as you are… you need a truly trustworthy ally!”

“And I am your best possible ally!”

Hearing Red Moon’s words, Su Xing raised an eyebrow and murmured:

    “An… ally?”

    “You’re… proposing we cooperate?”

Su Xing spoke word by word, staring unblinkingly at the Red Moon before him, as if trying to detect some flaw in that enormous eyeball.

    “That’s right! Cooperation!”

“You are favored by the Mother Goddess, and though your growth potential is immense… you appeared a bit too late, after all!”

“Among all the alien tribes, those who could actually aid your growth number only a handful…”

“But none of them will help you with genuine sincerity!”

“Whether it’s Pride, Gluttony, Wrath… or the current ‘Slaughter’… They are all merely using you!”

“Once your utility has been extracted, They will kick you aside without a second thought!”

    “But I… am different!”

After a pause, Red Moon said:

“You… have surely heard of my existence, yes?”

Su Xing’s heart stirred upon hearing this. He did indeed know, but he couldn’t reveal that now.

So he displayed a perfectly measured expression of curiosity and interest, asking:

“So then, who are you? And why would you want to ally with me?”

    “What’s in it… for you?”

Su Xing asked three questions in succession. He very much wanted to know the reason the Red Moon before him sought him out.

    Red Moon spoke slowly:

“Me?… I am nothing more than a failure from the past!”

“But now, I have obtained new authority from death and defeat… and I wish to make my comeback…”

“Perhaps… you could also call me the previous ‘Slaughter’!”

“Tens of millions of years ago…”

Red Moon did his best to recount his former power and advantages to Su Xing.

And Su Xing listened quietly, hoping to extract useful information from the account.

After a moment, Su Xing closed his eyes slightly and thought to himself:

“A struggle between two generations of Slaughter… So that’s how it is!”

As it turned out, among the alien tribes, the ten most powerful races were known as the Emperor Clans!

Below the Emperor Clans were the King Clans…

And among the Emperor Clans, the seven most powerful clan leaders were known as the “Seven Deadly Sins”!

Of course, this was Su Xing’s own interpretation, not Red Moon’s original intent.

These seven powerful lesser demon chief gods bore the codenames: Slaughter, Wrath, Pride, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, and Envy!

And among these seven, Slaughter ranked first!

The seven most powerful chief gods enjoyed priority access to resources.

Endless blood essence… the sweetest “world will”!

And clearly, the Red Moon before him was the previous Slaughter!

But ever since that battle tens of millions of years ago, Red Moon had led several chief gods in a fight against Luotian Ancestor!

Though Luotian Ancestor ultimately perished, Red Moon had perished simultaneously!

After his death, because the Law of Slaughter that Red Moon had comprehended bore great similarity to the higher law of “Death,”

and because he had glimpsed a trace of the origin of the Death law before perishing,

Red Moon now had this opportunity for resurrection!

As the previous clan leader of the Red Eye Tribe and the strongest existence among the Seven Deadly Sins, he had naturally enjoyed boundless glory in his time!

But the current Red Moon was far less glorious.

After Red Moon’s “death,” he had been dormant for a very long time…

It was only in the last million years that he had reestablished contact with the alien tribes.

But tens of millions of years had passed, and everything had long since changed!

The previous Lord of Slaughter, Red Moon, had become a relic of the past!

And the current Lord of Slaughter was Red Moon’s son!

Or rather, the second-generation Red Moon — the new clan leader of the Red Eye Tribe!

Drawing upon the accumulated heritage of the Red Eye Tribe, the second-generation Red Moon had surpassed all those veteran Seven Deadly Sins chief gods in a mere tens of millions of years.

He had become the new Slaughter, the head of the Seven Deadly Sins!

But the same law cannot be cultivated by two!

For any higher law, there could only be one existence who could walk it to its end!

And so, a dramatic falling-out between father and son had unfolded!

The current Lord of Slaughter, the second-generation Red Moon.

His strength among the chief gods could be called supreme, equivalent to chief god Peak.

Moreover, after tens of millions of years of management, he possessed countless supporters, with the entire Red Eye Tribe as his backing.

As for Red Moon, as the previous Lord of Slaughter —

Though he had once been incredibly powerful, he had been dead for far too long… After tens of millions of years, his former position as clan leader was gone, and he had lost the support of the red-eyed aliens.

His network of connections among the alien tribes had faded considerably as well.

But Red Moon still held certain advantages.

His comprehension of the Death law at the moment of his demise…

The veteran subordinates he had accumulated tens of millions of years ago — countless red-eyed aliens.

Connections with old friends from the past, as well as a portion of elder-generation powerhouses within the current Red Eye Tribe who still supported Red Moon!

But Red Moon’s greatest disadvantage was that he had not yet been resurrected!

Even if he fully resurrected, restoring his former strength would still require some time.

Su Xing rubbed the space between his brows, gradually organizing his thoughts, and a notion arose in his mind:

“When two tigers fight, one must fall!”

“How much more so when it’s a contest of Great Dao, a struggle over laws?”

    “Even between father and son…”

“Between the first-generation Red Moon and the second-generation Red Moon, only one can survive!”

“This seems… to be intelligence well worth exploiting!”

Su Xing’s mind continued to run through scenarios.

Inciting conflict between the old and new Red Moons, thereby sowing chaos within the alien tribes.

For the entire human race, this would undoubtedly be of enormous benefit!

“This is absolutely a tremendous opportunity… but exactly how to exploit it still requires careful thought!”

“For now though, Red Moon needs something from me… so I can extract plenty of benefits from him!”

The thought flashed through Su Xing’s mind, and he quickly formulated a plan.

Looking at the enormous red eyeball before him, Su Xing said unhurriedly:

“So, you want to form an alliance with me to reclaim your chance at leading the Red Eye Tribe?”

“But… what do I stand to gain from this?”

Red Moon detected the interest toward an alliance in Su Xing’s words and replied:

“I observe that you seem to walk the path of faith, yes?”

“Using the power of faith to rapidly enhance your divine power, divinity, and godhood… without needing to go through the long process of devouring.”

“For the lesser demon race, this is indeed a unique and innate advantage!”

“This is also the reason I’m willing to cooperate with you…”

“Gathering the power of faith requires vast numbers of followers… which means you need vast numbers of lesser demons!”

“And the breeding of lesser demons requires enormous quantities of blood essence…”

    Note
