Chapter 488 – Taking Over Earth, Su Xing’s Identity Exposed!

As she said this, a hint of amusement flickered in Red Moon’s eyes.

“If I withdraw the Law of Slaughter, they’ll lose their power!”

“Those originally short-lived humans will instantly age and march toward death.”

“If that happens… nearly half the life on that planet would be extinguished in an instant!”

“Personally, I couldn’t care less… but this planet’s potential… would be greatly diminished!”

“Are you sure you still want me to do this?”

Red Moon maintained that same calm expression.

As if the life and death of every being on Earth had nothing to do with Him.

No — more accurately, He truly didn’t care!

    “Hmph!”

“Since that’s the case… then let it be for now!”

“I’ll use the power of faith afterward… to eliminate your influence!”

Su Xing let out a cold snort, appearing completely unconcerned on the surface, though inwardly he had already broken into a cold sweat.

If Red Moon truly withdrew the Law of Slaughter, it would be an absolute catastrophe for Earth!

Every Class User over the age of fifty would be affected!

Especially the human race powerhouses above Heavenly King-stage who had temporarily become “long-lived species.”

They would instantly lose their power, lose everything.

This included Jin Congxue’s grandfather… Lu Yuanwu!

As well as quite a few friends and relatives that Su Xing knew.

This was a price Su Xing could not accept.

Beside him, Red Moon carefully studied Su Xing, trying to read something from his face.

But in the end, He simply said:

    “Since that’s the case… then I won’t change anything!”

“The power I left on that planet… will naturally dissipate within a hundred years!”

“Of course, if you’re willing to spend the power of faith… you could directly alter the rules and will of that small world — that would work too!”

“After all, that small world is already yours!”

“Oh right, and the small worlds and half-planes surrounding it… if you want them, I’ll throw them in as a gift!”

With that, Red Moon stared straight at Su Xing, wanting to see how he would take control of these small worlds.

Su Xing’s heart tightened — he knew the test had come!

What he did next would not only determine whether he could perfectly save all of Earth.

It would also determine his “standing” in Red Moon’s eyes!

Simply put, Red Moon wanted to see Su Xing show off his skills, to gauge his strength and value!

Su Xing didn’t hesitate. He smiled and said:

“Since you have such refined tastes, Slaughter… then by all means, watch!”

As Su Xing’s words fell, the entire expanse of void was shrouded in a layer of invisible darkness.

The void was not entirely without light.

The sources of light were the various worlds themselves.

And now, as Su Xing released his spatial laws, it was as though an otherworldly dimension had enveloped the entire void.

A pair of enormous black hands appeared in an instant, seizing the whole of Earth and pulling it into that dark alternate space!

With that, Earth departed from the void and entered Su Xing’s pocket dimension.

But Su Xing did not stop there.

He turned his gaze toward two other small worlds.

The Immortal Martial World, and the Spirit Realm!

The Immortal Martial World was a world instance that Su Xing had frequently explored in his earlier days. It possessed a basic foundation of cultivation civilization and had decent potential.

As for the Spirit Realm, the Spirit Clan within it were descendants of the Luotian Sect — natural-born spirit cultivators.

Su Xing would naturally not abandon these two worlds.

And since he still had power to spare, he chose to pull both worlds into his pocket dimension as well!

In the void, those enormous black hands reached out once more, seizing both worlds in succession and dragging them into the alternate space.

By this point, Su Xing’s spatial laws had been significantly depleted.

But he still had some reserves…

So Su Xing went ahead and grabbed dozens of nearby instance worlds in one sweep.

These instance worlds were, naturally, the half-planes that had once belonged to the Luotian Realm.

The more Su Xing took, the more perfect the restoration of the Luotian Realm would be in the future.

After releasing his spatial laws dozens of times in succession, Su Xing finally felt his Power of Laws completely depleted, and he ceased his actions.

Watching from the side, Red Moon’s avatar let a peculiar gleam flash through those crimson pupils.

    “Spatial laws… what incredible mastery!”

Red Moon clapped lightly and said:

“As expected of the Lord of the Lesser Demons, beloved by the Mother Goddess… with this display of Power of Laws alone, you’re not far from the seventh realm!”

“Your ascension to chief god is well within reach!”

Clearly, the skills Su Xing had displayed left Red Moon quite satisfied.

The identity of Lord of the Lesser Demons had risen even higher in Red Moon’s estimation!

Su Xing maintained his composure and said:

“Merely spatial laws… I hope I haven’t embarrassed myself before you, Slaughter!”

It seemed effortless, but the techniques Su Xing had just employed —

Reaching out to grasp worlds, shifting and maneuvering them — had actually surpassed the level of sixth realm Major Mastery.

Su Xing had expended nearly half of the power of faith within his body to temporarily elevate his spatial laws to sixth realm Peak.

Just barely enough to fool Red Moon.

He cast a reluctant glance at the other small worlds near Earth’s former location.

There were still at least dozens of small worlds and world fragments that Su Xing had yet to bring into his pocket dimension — the Beast Taming World among them!

It wasn’t that Su Xing didn’t want them — his spatial laws were simply insufficient.

Even so, Su Xing’s performance had left Red Moon considerably impressed.

After the two exchanged a few more pleasantries, Red Moon suddenly said:

“Lately there have been some rumors within the clan… saying that the two of us have entered into a partnership…”

As he spoke, Red Moon looked toward Su Xing, a probing glint in his eyes.

Su Xing instantly understood Red Moon’s meaning.

He was trying to determine whether this information had been leaked by Su Xing himself!

But Su Xing also furrowed his brow slightly, puzzled:

“Could it be that the leak came from your side?”

“Or perhaps… those two divine emissaries from before made some guesses?”

Red Moon studied Su Xing carefully. Seeing that Su Xing genuinely didn’t know, he finally dismissed his suspicions.

    Then he continued:

    “My competitors are quite… extraordinary…”

“If they learn of the relationship between us, you may be in danger…”

“When it comes down to it, it’s this old brother who dragged you into these waters!”

As he said this, Red Moon even seemed somewhat apologetic.

Su Xing smiled at the sight:

    “Haha, Brother Slaughter jests!”

“When has our lesser demon race ever feared anyone?”

Hearing Su Xing’s response, Red Moon was even more pleased.

Without a sound, the subtle game of wits between them quietly dissolved.

Afterward, Red Moon exchanged a few more pleasantries with Su Xing.

And after Su Xing dealt with them, he took his leave.

Departing the Endless Abyss, Su Xing used his remaining spatial laws to head toward the Void Realm.

Three days later, after traveling untold billions of miles, Su Xing finally stopped.

In this uninhabited stretch of void, he entered his pocket dimension.

At this moment, within the chaotic pocket dimension:

There were three complete small worlds — Earth, the Immortal Martial World, and the Spirit Realm.

Along with dozens of world fragments in half-plane form.

Extending his consciousness over these worlds, Su Xing could sense the panic among the human populations within them.

When Earth’s position had shifted earlier, the massive tremors and the sun vanishing from the sky had felt like the end of the world!

“Without sunlight… humanity still can’t survive!”

Su Xing took a deep breath and drew upon the meager power of faith he had left.

The next second, an enormous ball of fire appeared within the pocket dimension.

It was a “sun” that Su Xing had created using the power of faith!

Though it wasn’t as vast as a real sun,

it was enough to last several years and ensure the normal development of the human races across all three worlds.

“And now… it’s time to purge the Law of Slaughter!”

Su Xing willed it, and the power of faith descended upon Earth.

In an instant, Su Xing could sense the Law of Slaughter on Earth.

Within this law, there were clearly mechanisms Red Moon had left behind — ones that could determine the life and death of Class Users.

So Su Xing expended his power of faith to sever all karmic ties between Earth and Red Moon!

From this point forward, no new Class Users would ever be born on Earth!

And those who had already become Class Users would gradually lose their power over the next hundred years.

    “A hundred years… that’s more than enough!”

“Next, I need to introduce the Dao of Qi Refinement cultivation… and completely transform Earth’s power system into a cultivation civilization!”

“Though this can’t be done overnight!”

Su Xing rubbed his brow. Earth and these small worlds were, after all, currently inside his pocket dimension.

If Su Xing reverted to his true body, he would no longer be able to sense this pocket dimension.

Therefore, Su Xing first needed to leave a backdoor to ensure his true body could enter the pocket dimension.

After that, he could slowly assimilate these worlds.

“With my current strength, fully assimilating Earth alone would take at least half a year!”

“If I include the other worlds and world fragments… it would take about a year!”

“In the meantime, I should store these worlds inside the Luotian Mirror!”

    Su Xing murmured to himself.

He then left a backdoor in the pocket dimension, exited the void, and reverted to his true body’s form.

With a thought, Su Xing entered the Luotian Mirror.

Over the past half year, Su Xing had not yet repaired the Luotian Mirror in reality, as there had been no immediate need for it.

But now, the time for repair had finally arrived.

Magical power at the mid-Supreme Unity level surged into the Luotian Mirror like a rising tide.

The originally shattered mirror surface began to gradually restore itself.

The entire process lasted a full five days!

In the end, the repair progress grew from one-third to two-thirds.

Only the final small portion remained unrepaired.

Having expended an enormous amount of mental energy to finally complete the Luotian Mirror’s repair, Su Xing let out a long sigh of relief.

“Finally repaired… The next round of repairs probably won’t be feasible until I reach Peak Supreme Unity Golden Immortal!”

“But now that it’s repaired, the Luotian Mirror can finally absorb and contain worlds!”

Unable to contain his eagerness, Su Xing entered the alternate dimension in his true body.

Immediately after, Su Xing activated the Luotian Mirror’s function.

A stretch of void space appeared within the alternate dimension, and gradually began to assimilate Earth and the other small worlds.

Throughout the entire process, Su Xing’s magical power drained away like a flash flood!

Only after consuming a million drops of immortal liquid in succession did Su Xing manage to absorb all of Earth into the Luotian Mirror.

Su Xing sent his divine sense into the Luotian Realm and quickly noticed that beyond the Luotian Sect, a new area had appeared.

    Earth!

As a former part of the Luotian Realm, Earth integrated seamlessly into the Luotian Realm.

At the same time, Su Xing could sense the abundant spiritual energy within the Luotian Realm quietly and subtly transforming all of Earth.

Perhaps before long, Earth too could become a place suitable for cultivation.

But the work was not yet done after assimilating Earth into the Luotian Mirror.

Su Xing continued to expend vast amounts of magical power, assimilating the Spirit Realm, the Immortal Martial World, and dozens of world fragments all at once.

This alone cost Su Xing a full half month of time!

By the end, even with Su Xing’s deep reserves of magical power, he was starting to feel the strain.

“Phew… Regardless, I’ve finally completed the most critical step!”

Su Xing let out a long breath.

Now, all of Earth was under Su Xing’s protection.

From this point on, even if Su Xing fled to some distant domain, he could still guarantee the safety of Earth’s human race.

At this thought, Su Xing’s heart surged with excitement.

    “Earth’s crisis is finally over!”

“Then, it’s time for us to meet again!”

At this thought, Su Xing could barely contain his impatience.

By his count, it had been over two years since Su Xing had last seen Jin Congxue, and just as long since he’d been able to meet with his friends, family, and Earth’s people.

Now, with Earth’s crisis resolved, Su Xing could finally tell them the truth that had been hidden for so long.

“Come to think of it… I should technically be a world master now, right? At the very least, I’m the master of Earth?”

Su Xing mused with a hint of mischief.

And so, Su Xing first entered the spirit field grotto-heaven and awakened Luo Shuying, who had been in secluded cultivation for several years.

Ever since Su Xing had taken Luo Shuying under his protection, he had brought her into the spirit field grotto-heaven to ensure her safety.

Afterward, Su Xing had used the Dao of Cause and Effect to forcibly reverse Luo Shuying’s spiritual root.

This allowed Luo Shuying to condense the Heavenly Spirit Root that all cultivators dreamed of!

Combined with the abundant spiritual energy and inexhaustible resources within the Grand Grotto-Heaven,

Luo Shuying had finally become a true spirit cultivator!

In just a few short years, Luo Shuying’s strength had grown from Legendary-stage all the way to Body Integration stage.

She was only a single step away from the Mahayana stage!

After awakening Luo Shuying, Su Xing brought her into the Luotian Realm.

After all, Luo Shuying’s homeland, the Spirit Realm… was now within the Luotian Realm as well.

“Senior… what exactly is going on?”

A look of confusion appeared on Luo Shuying’s face.

As the saying goes, cultivation knows no passage of time. For these three years she had been immersed in cultivation, completely unaware of anything happening in the outside world.

And now, she had returned to Earth, a place that felt both familiar and strange to her.

Su Xing’s lips curved upward as he said:

“From today onward, you’ll never have to worry about invasion from foreign races again!”

“I’ll tell you everything in due time!”

“Right now, we have more important things to do!”

Su Xing adjusted the time differential between the inside and outside of the Luotian Mirror to thirty times, then brought Luo Shuying to Great Xia.

Ever since the sudden “solar eclipse” and “global earthquake” events that struck Earth several dozen days ago, Great Xia had entered a state of highest alert.

However, this did not hinder Su Xing from finding Jin Congxue.

In Capital City, within a familiar yet unfamiliar Villa.

It had been over two years since Su Xing had last come here, yet everything remained unchanged from before.

The room where Su Xing occasionally stayed had been meticulously cleaned until spotless by someone who cared.

Over these two-plus years, even when Su Xing had secretly descended upon Earth in his guise as the Lord of the Lesser Demons, he hadn’t dared to steal so much as a glance at these friends and family of his.

But now, Su Xing could finally return here openly and without reservation.

Standing at the Villa’s entrance, gazing at the graceful figure diligently cultivating inside the room, Su Xing couldn’t help but call out softly:

    “Xue-jie…”

In that instant, the beauty inside the room seemed to sense something. Her long eyelashes trembled twice, and when she saw the man she had longed for day and night suddenly appear before her—

Two lines of tears finally streamed down her face unbidden, countless grievances pouring out in that single moment.

She threw herself into Su Xing’s arms, and Jin Congxue spoke through her tears like rain upon pear blossoms:

“Su Xing… where on earth have you been all these years?”

“Do you know… do you know what’s been happening on Earth?”

Su Xing was silent for a moment, then gently stroked Jin Congxue’s long hair and said tenderly:

    “I know. I know everything!”

“From now on, we’re heading into a new era!”

After settling Jin Congxue and Luo Shuying, Su Xing traveled to his hometown to visit his parents.

The two elders were living quite leisurely in the countryside.

Ever since receiving the Qi Refinement technique from Su Xing several years ago, they seemed to have found a second wind — they were even thinking about giving Su Xing a little brother!

In the old couple’s words: “The first character we raised turned out to be a bust who never comes home, so we might as well roll a new alt!”

Su Xing stayed home with his parents for a few days before heading back to the Capital City.

Before he left, the two elders reminded him to be careful of the “solar eclipse” and to stay safe.

Though Su Xing found it somewhat amusing, he was genuinely moved.

After leaving his parents, Su Xing returned to Great Xia.

He then assumed his “Senior” appearance and went to see Lu Yuanwu.

Lu Yuanwu was momentarily stunned upon seeing Su Xing, then broke into a wide grin:

    “Senior, you’re finally back!”

“Earth… so much has happened during this time!”

“All the dungeons closed simultaneously, without warning… Class Users can no longer gain power by killing monsters!”

“And moreover… we can even feel the power we already possess gradually fading away…”

“Demon-Sealing Pass has vanished too… all those foreign races are gone!”

“And then there was the earthquake and black sun event a month ago…”

Lu Yuanwu spoke without pause, eagerly relaying everything that had transpired on Earth during this period.

In his eyes, Su Xing was the strongest human on this world — perhaps he would know what had happened.

After quietly listening to everything Lu Yuanwu had to say, Su Xing decided to drop the act entirely and sighed:

“Grandpa Lu… the human race is about to step into a new era!”

With that, Su Xing shifted back to his true appearance.

This immediately left Lu Yuanwu stunned.

    Then, he blurted out instinctively:

    “You… aren’t you that Su-something Su Xing? Xiao Xue’s boyfriend…”

Su Xing rolled his eyes. Clearly, years ago, he hadn’t left zero trace of himself on Earth.

His frequent contact with Jin Congxue in particular had made Lu Yuanwu aware of who he was.

Of course, Lu Yuanwu had absolutely no knowledge of his other identities or true strength.

“Ahem… let’s not get ahead of ourselves here!”

“Grandpa Lu… let me tell you what’s been going on.”

With that, Su Xing told Lu Yuanwu everything he could about what the human race had experienced over the past ten thousand years, and everything that had happened in recent years.

Including the fact that Earth had been targeted by a powerful being, and that the “Class User system” was essentially a scheme to “raise insects in a jar” — cultivating humans as fodder!

And that the foreign races had been temporarily repelled, and Earth had been moved to a safe location.

    But more importantly!

“So… Grandpa Lu, the Class User system will become obsolete from now on!”

“Great Xia, and indeed all of Earth’s people, must master a new form of power!”

“And that is — immortal cultivation!”

“Qi Refinement, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, Nascent Soul… Spirit Transformation, Void Return, Mahayana… Immortal!”

“The powers described in Earth’s myths and legends are real!”

“Or rather, these powers always belonged to you — they were simply lost and now reclaimed!”

“From this moment on, you could say Earth has entered… an era of spiritual energy revival!”

“And what you need to do is… promote the path of immortal cultivation throughout all of Great Xia as quickly as possible… and that includes yourselves — you must embark on the path of immortality without delay!”

“Otherwise, within the next hundred years, you’ll face the dangers of aging and death…”

In concise terms, Su Xing laid out everything Lu Yuanwu needed to do next.

After finishing, Su Xing handed Lu Yuanwu the Qi Refinement technique he had prepared in advance — one best suited for low-level cultivators.

Lu Yuanwu, standing before him, was completely frozen.

Confronted with such an enormous upheaval and flood of information all at once, he half-suspected Su Xing was joking.

Su Xing also knew that Lu Yuanwu couldn’t accept all of this immediately, so he said:

“You have three… months to come to terms with this!”

“Next, I’m going to meet with the human race’s Emperor, and the other powerhouses!”

“In three months, you must accept this reality and begin promoting Qi Refinement techniques as soon as possible!”

“Spiritual energy will sweep across all of Earth at a terrifying rate… If you don’t work hard, I’m afraid that in a few decades, humans won’t even be a match for the animals!”

After a pause, Su Xing spoke in a voice tinged with emotion:

“From now on, you’ll never have to worry about invasion from foreign races again!”

Looking at the stunned Lu Yuanwu before him, Su Xing let out a quiet sigh.

In truth, there was a second half to that sentence that Su Xing had left unspoken:

The danger of foreign invasion… would be borne by him alone.

    Note
