Vasida and Sylph could certainly afford them—it was just their first time spending such a large sum of Gem Coins all at once.
After all, Gem Coins could be loaded into Energy Storage Cards and absorbed as mana!

Despite the sting, they bought them in the end.
Just as Mo Lan had said, buying now would save them from having to buy new cards and copy videos all over again at graduation.
The three of them took their new Videotape Cards and headed straight to the Second-Year Reading Room.
Near the reading lounge area, a new bookshelf had appeared. Instead of books, it held row after row of Videotape Cards.
Picking up any card at random, one could see the video file names displayed on its surface.

Mo Lan was both stunned and delighted. “All of the second-year theory course teaching videos are already done!”
“How did the Headmistress manage this? That’s insanely hardcore!” Sylph exclaimed. “It takes us a whole year to learn all this, but the Headmistress recorded the videos in just one weekend!”
Vasida murmured in a daze, “Do you think all of the Headmistress’s clones spent this weekend recording videos?”
She and Mo Lan had both been to the Headmistress’s Lounge deep underground.
For this many videos to be finished all at once, there was only one possibility: every single one of the Headmistress’s clones had been mobilized.
Imagining countless copies of Lady Amisha standing before recording devices and filming lessons, the two of them couldn’t help but rub their arms with a shiver.
Mo Lan and the others pressed their own Videotape Cards against the shelf cards and copied all the teaching videos onto their own cards.
“Let’s go!” Mo Lan could hardly wait to get back and start watching the videos.
If she finished studying ahead of schedule and applied for her completion exams, she could free up even more time to study Elemental Magic and Spatial Magic.
“The projector is so amazing… Hello, upperclassmen!”
They had barely stepped out of the reading room when they ran into the first-year juniors.
“Moira, your Projector Card and Videotape Card are so incredible—it’s like you’ve stuffed Lady Amisha right inside a card!” Bertha said excitedly.
“They gave you cards too?” Mo Lan asked in surprise. “How many teaching videos are there?”
“We’re not sure! Lady Amisha told us to come to the reading room and copy them ourselves,” Annie said.
Mo Lan exchanged a glance with Vasida and Sylph, and they decided to go take a look together.
The same new bookshelf near the lounge area, the same Videotape Cards. Mo Lan pulled one out and looked at it. “The first-year theory course videos are all done too!”
“Do you think the third-year theory course videos have been recorded as well?” Vasida wondered.
The three of them copied the first-year teaching videos too, then went straight to find their senior, Lilith.
“The third-year required and elective course videos are all done. I just copied them!” Lilith said.
“Did you know, Lilith? The first and second-year theory course videos are all finished too,” Sylph told her.
The four young witches stared at each other in bewilderment.
“Lady Amisha’s work efficiency is absolutely unbelievable!” Mo Lan was filled with deep admiration.
“It’s actually not that surprising when you think about it. Nobody knows how many clones Lady Amisha has,” Lilith said.
“It’s a shame Lady Amisha insists on waiting until graduation to tell us the secret of her clones. I haven’t found any cloning magic in 《The Witch’s Complete Magic Compendium》 either.”
The more there was to learn, the more Mo Lan coveted that cloning ability.
If she had clones, one clone could read a book while another practiced a spell. Would she ever have to worry about not finishing all those books in the library?
Thinking about all the books she needed to read and all the magic she needed to learn, Mo Lan lost interest in chatting any further.
“I’m done talking—I’m heading back to eat and watch videos!”
The enchanted kitchen utensils bustled about while a Valen Common Language lesson played at double speed on the projector in front of Mo Lan. Knowledge poured into her mind, and her anxious heart finally settled a little.
She wanted to finish watching all the Valen Common Language and Wilderness Survival teaching videos as quickly as possible, then apply for the completion exams and free up her entire morning schedule!
She began keeping her wand in hand at all times, using the Levitation Spell to float the projector in the air, earphones in her ears—listening to lessons while cooking, listening while eating, listening while riding her broom.
Even during afternoon magic classes, she tucked the projector into her satchel and played the Common Language course videos, achieving the remarkable feat of practicing magic while simultaneously listening to lectures.
Of course, spellcasting required a certain degree of focus, so the video playback speed couldn’t match what she used when watching with full attention.
She played them at normal speed so as not to compromise the learning effect.

The other young witches noticed that she kept her earphones in throughout the entire class, sometimes muttering words under her breath, and even pulled out her projector to operate it when class ended.
When they asked, they learned she had been listening to lessons at the same time.
“Can you really learn anything listening like that?” The young witches could hardly believe it.
Mo Lan recited a passage of Common Language greetings she had just learned right there on the spot.
“You said Lady Amisha’s work efficiency was unbelievable, but I’d say your study efficiency is pretty unbelievable too, Moira,” Vasida remarked.
“Strictly speaking, what Moira’s doing is even more impressive! Lady Amisha has clones—each clone only needs to do one thing. But Moira is one person splitting herself into several pieces!” Sylph marveled.
“I have no choice. There’s just too much to learn.” Mo Lan had truly been out of options when she came up with this idea, and to her surprise, the results weren’t bad at all.
“That’s kind of cool! I want to try it too!” Cheryl’s desire to learn was also quite strong. Following Mo Lan’s example, she put on her earphones and began practicing magic.
The other young witches followed suit.
