News of the magic candy shop had already been shared with Luwen the previous night. Now, what Mo Lan needed to do next was fill the shop’s shelves with magic candies that couldn’t be found in the Dawn Society’s Card Shop.

The crafting ingredients determined a magic candy’s flavor and effects.

Since the candies were meant to attract Angels, the ones in the shop would need to be made from light-attribute ingredients found in the Sacred Mountains.

Only candies made this way would better suit the tastes of Angels, who had an affinity for the light element.

With her experience and memories as an Earth confectioner, combined with a Peak level Potion Witch’s sensitivity to ingredients, developing several magic candy recipes was no difficult task for Mo Lan.

She first listed out the common sweet ingredients found in the Sacred Mountains: Honey Light Fruit, Light Milkweed, Frost Sugar Moss, Crisp Light Cane, Holy Light Bee honey…

There were quite a number of ingredients from which sugar could be extracted, and among them, Honey Light Fruit had the highest sweetness.

For each sweet ingredient, she prepared a corresponding Material Card.

Then came the combination of Earth candy-making and magical ingenuity.

At the gossip meeting a month later, Mo Lan brought her candies to the Holy Song Lily of the Valley tea restaurant.

“Radiant Dawn Gummies, Beauty Honeycomb Candy, Silken Cascade Radiance Candy, Dazzling Stargaze Star Candy, Pure Clarity Bubble Gum, Lush Luminous Cotton Candy, Crystal Jade Lollipops, Light’s Blessing Lucky Candy… it’s only been so long, and you’ve already made this many magic candies?”

Garona looked at the candy list Mo Lan had brought and exclaimed in surprise.

“As expected of a Dragon-certified Five-Star Chef!” Camilla hugged the candy box. “I’ve never even seen any of these candies before!”

“The candy wrappers are so pretty!” Bella said. “They clearly don’t go beyond white and gold, yet they don’t feel monotonous at all! Those Hermits should find them beautiful too!”

Mo Lan smiled and nodded. During this past month, she had only spent the first half actually making candies. The entire second half had been devoted to designing candy packaging and the shop’s interior decor.

The designs needed to align with the Hermits’ aesthetic sensibilities without completely catering to them at the expense of genuine beauty.

Coming up with this set of wrappers had been no easier than making the magic candies themselves.

“Go ahead and try them! These candies all have temporary magic effects.”

Mo Lan had deliberately mixed all the different candies together without including any instructions.

Garona picked one, peeled off the wrapper, and commented as she ate: “It’s a filled gummy! Sweet and sour, nice and chewy, really good flavor…”

“Garona, you’re glowing!” Agnes said.

Garona’s skin had taken on a layer of soft radiance, giving her an overall aura of sanctity.

Garona rubbed her cheeks in front of the mirror: “Oh my, so fair!”

“That’s the Radiant Dawn Gummy. It makes your skin naturally emit a soft glow and brightens your complexion,” Mo Lan said.

“How amazing, let me try one.” Agnes also grabbed a candy, quickly unwrapped it, and popped it into her mouth. “Mine seems to be a gummy too. Mm… it’s melting so fast! Mmph…”

Agnes suddenly covered her mouth. Her cheeks puffed out, and then her mouth was forced open with a “pop~” as she blew out an iridescent bubble.

“So this pattern is all Pure Clarity Bubble Gum, right? Then let me try this one.” Melinda picked a type of candy no one had tried yet.

Mo Lan looked at her curly, voluminous hair and smiled. “That one should suit you quite well.”

“Really?” Melinda carefully placed the candy in her mouth. The moment it touched her tongue, a blinding light burst from her mouth, and she instinctively pressed her lips tightly shut.

“Melinda, your hair!” Euphemia said.

Melinda could already feel something was off. After closing her mouth, the top of her head felt cool, and her curly hair, which had previously only reached her collarbone, suddenly cascaded down to her chest.

Garona handed the mirror to Melinda.

Agnes’s bubbles had finally run out. She picked a candy for Bella.

A moment later, Bella stared with starlight-sparkling eyes and batted her lashes flirtatiously at Agnes: “Well? Are my eyes bright enough?”

Camilla, Euphemia, and Evelyn each picked a candy to try as well, but their changes after eating were less noticeable.

“Camilla, yours was the Beauty Honeycomb Candy. It removes skin blemishes and makes skin more refined. Your skin was already very refined to begin with and doesn’t have any blemishes, so the effect isn’t very visible.
