Chapter Index

The heavenly dao of the Immortal Realm had previously, in order to preserve itself, reclaimed the origin essence from every Dao Ancestor without hesitation, causing the earth-shattering upheaval of all Dao Ancestor cultivators collectively “perishing” overnight. This had long since become the greatest and most terrifying shadow looming over the hearts of all cultivators.

Yet this very shadow now created unexpectedly favorable conditions for the promotion of Card Magic.

When the “Dream Revelation” quietly descended among the cultivators through the world consciousness, the response it provoked far exceeded anything ordinary.

In peacetime, this kind of collective dream of unknown origin would inevitably have been met with suspicion and resistance from the entire cultivation world.

But now, with the inexplicable precedent of the “mass perishing of Dao Ancestors” fresh in their minds, cultivators showed a surprisingly high degree of trust and acceptance toward the heavenly dao conspiracy revealed in the Dream Revelation.

A sense of panic and bewilderment — that “the heavenly dao has changed, the old path is blocked, and a new way must be found” — made them far more willing to try and embrace Card Magic.

Meanwhile, the process of Mo Lan and Anita collecting the memories of Daluo realm cultivators also proceeded smoothly.

Mo Lan’s Psychic Magic had long since reached the Eighth Rank, and with her vast psychic power as support, taking control of a few Daluo realm cultivators and copying their memories posed essentially no obstacle whatsoever.

Of course, among the Daluo realm cultivators there were some whose primordial spirits were exceptionally tenacious and powerful, with unusually keen spiritual perception. Mo Lan could not achieve the same seamless results as she had in the Spirit Realm and the cultivation world, where the targets remained completely unaware throughout the entire process.

Even though Mo Lan quietly altered their memories of the period during which they had been controlled, some cultivators would still vaguely sense afterward that something was not quite right.

However, this slight anomaly, without any awareness of Mo Lan and Anita’s existence, could never possibly be traced back to people from another world.

No matter how alarmed or suspicious they felt, they would only assume it was a deviation in their own cultivation, or perhaps… some ominous premonition.

Even more ironic was that after the “Dream Revelation” descended, quite a few Daluo realm cultivators whose memories had been extracted, upon reflecting on their earlier “abnormal” sensations, unanimously turned their suspicious gazes toward the heavenly dao of the Immortal Realm!

“It must be the heartless heavenly dao, prying into our secrets!”

“Could it be that we too have been marked by the heavenly dao, about to follow in the Dao Ancestors’ footsteps?”

“The heavenly dao is truly unpredictable — has it already begun directly interfering with cultivators’ primordial spirits?”

Suspicion and panic spread covertly among the high-ranking cultivators, perfectly concealing the true traces of Mo Lan and her companions’ actions.

To Mo Lan and the others, who knew the Immortal Realm’s nature all too well, none of this was the least bit surprising.

The heavenly dao of the Immortal Realm was selfish and self-serving, willing to sacrifice anything to maintain its own power, caring nothing for the lives of the beings within its domain.

With the heavenly dao being what it was, most cultivators shared a similar mindset. When encountering something they could not understand or that threatened their interests, the first thing they suspected was that cold, merciless “heavenly dao” above their heads — the one that had just demonstrated its terrifying capabilities.

The chain of suspicion and selfishness rooted deep in cultivators’ hearts had now become the perfect camouflage for Mo Lan and her team’s operations.

The promotion of Card Magic and the collection of Daluo cultivators’ memories were quietly completed in an atmosphere that was absurd yet safe.

When the Immortal Realm had been thoroughly transformed into a magic world, the “Immortal Realm Subjugation Plan” finally reached its true and complete conclusion.

On the return journey, the green moss-covered meadow inside Mo Lan’s mirror space was filled with a relaxed and lively atmosphere.

All participants gathered here once more, tallying the final distribution of rewards.

An extraordinarily detailed contribution ledger was projected above the meadow.

The ledger listed every participant’s investment and effort during the final assault on the Immortal Realm — from the first volley of attacks through the subsequent Card Magic promotion process — all quantified and converted into a final “contribution score” according to the complex formula agreed upon beforehand. Numbers flickered across the light screen before settling into place.

No one raised any objections. The trust built through a century of fighting side by side, along with the fairness ensured by Carmela’s Contract Magic, guaranteed the authority of this distribution plan.

Based on these contribution scores, the one percent of total Immortal Realm Card Magic revenue that had been set aside for distribution was precisely divided into one hundred and six shares.

Though each person’s specific proportion differed, everyone understood clearly what an enormously vast sum of long-term, stable income this would represent.

After everyone received their personalized {Revenue Share Card}, tables, chairs, and picnic blankets were immediately set up on the meadow.

    A grand victory banquet began.

The feast was prepared by the Devouring Sorceress Vasida, using nothing but rare ingredients from the cultivation world and precious otherworldly ingredients from Krotack’s collection. Transformed through culinary magic, they became a dazzling array of exquisite dishes whose aromas were so rich they seemed almost to solidify into tangible form.

Anita waved her Fireworks Wand — this time not for battle but purely for celebration. Countless safe yet brilliant magical fireworks bloomed across the sky of the mirror space, tracing out iconic scenes from their journey together: the majestic form of the Starsea Ark, the moment the ascension channel shattered, the shifting colors of each world’s transformation…

Meridis leaned back in her chair holding a glass of lava-like liquor, gazing up at the sky with a barely perceptible curve of relaxation at the corner of her mouth. Lilith was beside her, discussing a deal involving Dragon blood samples.

Mo Lan was playing mahjong with Traci, Carmela, and Queen Eliana, with several Witches standing behind each player, watching the game.

The victory banquet lasted a full three days and three nights before it ended.

After the celebrations, everyone began considering their plans for after returning to Valen.

    Their answers were remarkably unanimous.

The red Dragon Meridis and the brass Dragon Krotack both said they were going back to Valen to sleep for a few hundred years.

“A few hundred years should be enough time for us to absorb the ancient dragon Magic from our inherited memories!”

The Elves also expressed that after returning, they would prepare to go back to their ancestral lands to receive transmissions of more advanced Elven magic.

The Witches, too, had no plans to leave Valen anytime soon after this return.

They all needed time to raise their own Magic levels.

Even Traci, Carmela, Lilith, and Vasida planned to stay in Valen for a while, focusing on studying Witch Magic and converting the Mana they had gained into true combat power.

Anita also planned to enter slumber for a period, to receive a higher-level Artifact Spirit transmission.

Only Mo Lan, alone among them all, intended to prepare for a journey to the Seran world upon her return.

The Witch race’s historical depth and accumulated heritage could not compare to the Dragon or Elf race.

The Sorceresses and Witches present were the leaders of the Witch race — there simply were no ready-made high-level Magic transmissions available to them.

The others’ Witch Magic levels were somewhat lower than Mo Lan’s, and the Seventh Rank and Eighth Rank Witch Magic Knowledge Cards that Mo Lan had previously compiled could still serve as reference for them. But for Mo Lan herself, the only option was to find a way to obtain more magical knowledge from higher-level worlds.

The Fifteenth Rank Seran world was an excellent choice.
